The Hindu Temple of St.Louis education and cultural center has below features to support our FUTURE to carry on generations. OUR cultural & education center costs ~$7.2M and we are short of $2M to complete this project. We are asking you to help support OUR Temple and OUR Cultural & Education Center. We are a nonprofit that relies on direct support from people like you.

Education & Cultural Center

The Hindu Temple of St.Louis Education and Cultural Center vision is to enhance the religious experience for all in our diverse congregational community. The temple will enhance and expand programs in education, youth & adult activities and services to the community. Our Education & Cultural Center is a volunteer-driven, community-supported, non-profit organization under Hindu Temple of St.Louis. Our primary objective is to promotes and practices the ideals of Hindu religion through worship and education. The Temple strives for spiritual richness and human excellence through assimilation of the values emphasized in Hindu scriptures and applying them in our daily lives, while recognizing and respecting other religions and belief systems in their due context. Multi-Purpose Education and Cultural Center, which will have state of the art auditorium (seating capacity 600), 10 classrooms, kitchen, library and meeting rooms with additional 238 parking spaces. The total project cost is $6 million and to date we have raised over $3.0 million through pledges and donations in our fundraising efforts. This includes pledges of $100,000 each for 8 classrooms out of 10 from extremely generous individuals after whom each of these classrooms will be named. In the same light, we continue to develop an educational platform for giving so that the "next generation" will understand the culture, traditions and values of our ancestors.

Cultural Center

The Hindu Temple of St. Louis has provided our community with a location and resource dedicated to the enrichment of families for over 20 years. In light of this, we propose to build a Community Center which, with your support, will fulfill the needs of our current and future generations.With a population of 16,000 (and growing) Indian families in St. Louis, this new development would be a significant milestone for our future generations.
